6 Ways To Celebrate Galentine's Day

6 Ways To Celebrate Galentine's Day

Celebrating Galentine's Day is a great way to show your friends how much you appreciate them! Here are some fun ideas to make the most of the day:

Have a girls night in with your besties!

Girls night in is definitely one of the best ways to spend time with your best friends. I suggest renting a movie like The Notebook, Mean Girls, or The Princess Diaries. If you're game for something more interactive, you can break out the board games or even get creative and come up with your own. And don't forget the snacks! Make it even more special by baking something together or ordering your favorite takeout. Don't forget to take lots of pictures and create lasting memories with your best friends!

Make a DIY spa day at home.

A DIY spa day at home is an excellent way to relax and pamper yourself. Start by gathering a few items to create a calming atmosphere. Get a few face masks, some scented candles, and put on a relaxing playlist. You can also give each other mini manicures or pedicures. To prepare for the mini manicures or pedicures, gather nail clippers, nail files, cuticle cutters, and a nail buffer. If you have nail polish, that is great too. After your mini manicures or pedicures, you can apply a cuticle oil or hand cream to keep your hands and feet hydrated. Lastly, to set the perfect spa ambience, turn off all the lights and light the scented candles. Enjoy your DIY spa day!

Have a Galentine's Day brunch.

Invite your closest friends over for a fun brunch with delicious food and drinks. Everyone will love the delicious food and drinks, and it'll be even more special if everyone brings a dish. Maybe you can plan some fun activities or games to go along with the brunch to make it even more memorable. One of the really fun things we've seen are the charcuterie/snack board themed parties. Delicious and fun!

Have a Galentine's Day themed photo shoot.

Here are a few ideas to get you started. First, pick a theme for your photo shoot! You could go with a classic Valentine's Day theme like hearts, cupids, or flowers. Or, you could go with something more original like a movie night or a nature-inspired theme. Get some props that go along with your theme, like fun hats, glasses, or even a blanket or two. Then, have your friends come over and have a mini photoshoot! Everyone could wear matching colors, or pick some fun accessories like t-shirts or scarves. Have fun with it and take lots of silly pictures!

Have a movie marathon.

Here is a list of my favorite romantic comedy movies that you and your friends can watch:

1. When Harry Met Sally
2. How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days
3. The Proposal
4. Pretty Woman
5. The Wedding Singer
6. Bridget Jones's Diary
7. 10 Things I Hate About You
8. 27 Dresses
9. Notting Hill
10. Love Actually.

Don't forget to have plenty of snacks, like popcorn, candy, chips, and soda. Have a great time!

Have a scavenger hunt.

Put together a list of items and have your friends split into teams to find all the items. The team that finds the most items wins! Here's a list of items to find. Make sure to split into teams and get creative with how you search for each item! For example, you could take a picture of each item you find or write down a description. The team that finds the most items wins!

Items to find:

• A photo of a heart

• Something red

• A Valentine's Day card

• A flower

• A romantic movie

• A love song

• A romantic poem

• Something sweet

• A coin

• A box of chocolates

Good luck and have fun!

No matter how you choose to celebrate, Galentine's Day is a great way to show your friends how much you appreciate them!
